I mean romatically. Will it be Catwoman, Talia, Wonder Woman, Poison Ivy, Harley. OK I know those last two are very far fetched, but you never know. What are your thoughts.
Personally, I hope it is Catwoman.

actually before the crisis of the other universes he DID marry catwoman, but when the universes combined many things were erased and forgotten, personnally I always was hoping for catwoman. but then again if he did hook up with harley that would be interesting.... I like your way of thinking and that you remembered other lesser known female villians!

I don't know that Batman can learn ot handle emotional intimacy. After losing his parents, he's become detached from relationships. He's constantly keeping his distance from Alfred, Robin, and just about everyone else. Sure, he can't help desiring the company of a beautiful woman now and again, but when the next day dawns, he just pictures himself getting hurt when this person is killed, so he moves on.

I would love to see him with Wonder Woman. He knows how to treat her with respect, and she really isn't into the world of men that much. I think they're a lovely fit. Of course, he's not as powerful as she is and that too would cause problems in the relationship as time goes on. It could never be a marriage of equals. I guess my mind just can't picture Bruce happy with someone.

Catwoman had her chance with him, but she couldn't let go of her desire for material possessions. Perhaps an alternate Catwoman might be able to convince him that she too is alone in the darkness and there's no reason why they do not face the darkness together.

Yes I would think Batman does end up with Catwoman, though she would probably just like in the movie, end up killing herself.
He would just find some tall beautiful blonde to be by his side for the moment.
In the end, I think Batman will never real find someone to be together with forever. He will be close with the daughter of the chief(Gordon) the girl who becomes Batgirl.
But I think that will be just a fling.
Batman prefers to be a loner.

My money's on Talia at the end of the day. But maybe she would be the one that got away, in which case I would pick Selena Kyle, i.e. the original Catwoman.

If you follow DC Comics, Bruce Wayne ultimately marries Selena Kyle (a.k.a. Catwoman). They have a daughter. Sadly, both Bruce Wayne and Selena Kyle are murdered and their daughter takes on the Batwoman persona, which is very sad since 2 generations suffer the same tragedy. However, I noticed the TV versions of Batman strays away from the DC Comic depiction of Batman.

In addition, in DC Comics, Ras Al Ghul's daughter, Talia, does in fact "marries" Batman. I guess you could call it a commonwealth marriage. Talia gives birth to their son. But, tragedy strikes again. One of Ras Al Ghul's enemy tries to kill both him and Talia. Batman manages to fight off the attacker and ultimately defeats him; however, he was nearly killed defending her. Out of love, she left him having never telling him they have a son. Talia gave their child to a caring couple who had no children of their own and wanted to adopt.

This is SUCH a good question! (Much better than 'who can beat up the other?')

Starting from the bottom. Harley is not interested at all in Batman. Joker would kill her if she ever showed signs of interest in the Batman. Besides, she isx pretty sick to like the Joker, and batman is metnally healthy. So she's out. (Even though in my book, Harley's the hottest of them all!)

Poison Ivy, why would he be interested in a woman whose mere touch could kill him? She is more interested in the power and the intimidation than the ecstasy and the intimacy, if you know what I mean. So she's out, too.

Wonder Woman? Character wise a much more likely choice, in that they are both heros, both devoted to what is good and right. They are even good friends, fellow professionals, they respect each other. But they are physically unsuited for each other. You've heard of 'Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex'...? Well, this would be 'Woman of Steel, Man of Kleenex'...!

Diana would BREAK Bruce. You thought Bane was bad...?

No, sorry. Diana needs someone on her own strength level.

Talia is next. Supposedly, in Ras al Ghul's twisted way of thinking (or the outmoded, totalitarian laws he espouses in his homeland) the consent of the groonm is not necessary for a marriage to be legal, and perhaps, binding. Granted that Talia is the hottest thing to come down the pike since Catherine Zeta Jones (who would cast well for Talia), Bruce is too independent to submit to a woman, especially when he knows that it would not really be submitting to Talia, but to her father, the Demon Head.

There was a black-and-white (a publication not in four-color, therefore not legally a "comic book", not bound by the Comics Code) in which Batman was shown enjoying, shall we say, a honeymoon with Talia. But Bruce is experienced enough to know that there always have been and always will be predatory women after the Wayne millions (or, billions, by now) and long ago took the necessary precautions so that there will be no claims of child support forthcoming. Having a child by Talia would be the same as surrendering to Ras al Ghul.

Which brings us to Catwoman (I am not going to deal with Kathy Kane, the original Batwoman, nor [shudder] Vicki Vale.)

Catwoman is problematic. She has suffered much, almost as much as Bruce himself has suffered, in being trained as a cat burglar and forced to steal for others.

She truly respects him, in the sense of having a hearty fear. She knows that he can take her down, if he wants to. The restraint that he shows must frighten her almost as much as his sheer competence. She can tell, even if she has not put it into words, that he wants to see her rehabilitated. What she is and what she has done does not disgust or repell him. It is her choice about what she will do with her future that matters to him. Selina struggles with her own resentment of his ambition in her behalf, though he would give her all the credit.

When she admits to herself that all he wants is for her to be happy and safe and stop breaking the law, then she may begin to reflect on the goodness and kindness of the person so motivated.

It was when the Catwoman of Earth Two saw the scars on Batman's back, the occupational hazard of fifteen years of crime fighting, that she realized the depth of his dedication, that crime fighting was not a game to him as crime had been a game to her. This was when they becan to care for eace other.

Note that: to care for each other, not just to feel an electric sexual tension betwen each other. Their bodies wanted each other, each recognizing a superb specimen of flesh, one with whom pleasures and offspring would be superior. It took longer for them to learn to trust each other. But that came in time.

It's not going to be Catwoman. It's going to be Selina. And it's not going to be Batman. It's going to be Bruce.

I don't see him ending up with anyone. He won't want to drag them into the danger. If anyone it'd be Batgirl, she's already in the danger, and attached to Gotham City, unlike Wonder Woman, and she's good for that matter, he won't be with an evil person.

Since they are DC characters, it doesn't really matter. They change story lines all the time. I always thought that Wonder Woman was the best so I'm gonna vote for her.
