just being a cheerleader doesnt make you popular, its personality. we have some popular cheerleaders and some that arent....it might get you a coupld friends, but you wont run the school because you are

Huh, of the 20 or so cheerleaders at my school (we are a school of about 1000), there are probably 3 I genuinely like, and another 5 or so I can stand. As a person who is not particularly popular, I generally find them to be skanky and bitchy. Some of them are popular, but only because they let all the guys into their pants. Granted, not all of them are like that, I'm actually good friends with a cheerleader, she's awesome, but in general, people make fun of the cheerleaders more than they want to be like them. It's not that way at all schools, but i think the stereotype that cheerleaders are automatically popular tends to be wrong. It may not be that way at your school, and if you're interested in the sport itself, I'd say go for it, but at my school, the reputation of the cheerleaders is not a particularly good one.

yeh, they are some what popular at my school. Cheerleaders ar some times not nice to ever one,but if you are nice toothers they u can be like by all. I like cheerleading it is good excerise and you can keep in shape

At my school, cheerleaders aren't really a social grou, more like an activity. It's not a "social badge" to wave in front of everyone's faces. Just an activity.

Yeah I mean I like the Seahawks ones but the ones at are school are just like 7th graders that dress up differently

no that's not true. those who are really bright are the ones popular. cheerleaders are just plain pretty but nothing in their heads.

no cheerleaders arnt popular at my school. to me, cheerleaders are sluts and want too much attention.
