Upside down movies?

I've downloaded two avi movies and both are played upside down. Why is that? Please, help!! I tried to play them on windows media player but it didn't work either.
Please give specific answers.

Download a video editing program to rotate the video.

You can download a program called Virtual Dub and flip the movies over. It takes a while, especially if the avi's are large. I think you can get it on Cnet.com but you may have to look around.
