There are two types of email account. Web-based and POP3. Web-based email clients (eg. Yahoo, Hotmail, BTinternet etc) are accessable from any network. POP3 email clients (Microsoft Outlook, for example) are only usually available on the network or machine where they are held. You can get round this problem by telling your .org.uk email address to forward all email to your (for example) Yahoo account.
