I've bought a new HP cm535 ComboDrive. When I attached it to my computer, an error is prompted "The new device may not work properly". Also There is no CD ROM icon in the My Computer. So from where can I get the drivers ??

You should'nt need a driver unless your using windows 98

I guess its not a "driver" problem. CD ROM or combos usually do not need any driver. Most probably you didn't attached it with the computer correctly. Please check the jumper setting at the back of your drive and make sure it is in slave postion (assuming your hard drive is primary master).
Once it is attached correctly - your BIOS should detect it. Go to BIOS and check it out.

If everything is okay and its still not working . go to the support & drivers section of HP's site and look for your model. HP has an excellent online live support as well.

do a search for cm535 combo drive in the search bar on hp website
