ok my name is jazzmin and i really want to be preppy because i kinda dress like a tom-boy and my attitude is a total prep! I wear a size 3X or 2X in shirts so i cant really shop at hollister or abercrombie or AE. so how do i become preppy without spending tons of money?

You should go to J.Crew, Brooks Brothers ( They have women sizes ) or something, I think fat people can wear their clothing.

umm...tighter fitting clothes are totally preppy. Layered t-shirts, you will probably fit into the bigge abercrombie...it's called Abercrombie and Fitch. The only way to be a true prep is to show at hollister, AE, or one of the abercrombies. Other than that...i guess some of the things at old navy are sorta kinda preppy. You should be able to fit into AE also... it carries alot of adult sizes. Hope i could help!

Just wear cheap knock offs of their style. Plus if you are trying to be a preppy then being pretentious goes a longer way than style any day!!

Some good guidelines to follow
Layers, minis, leggings, v-neck sweaters and polos are classic
It's hard to try and be associated with preppy without the brand name though.

well ishop @ abercrombie kids and hollister and im a total prep. why change yewr reputation because its gonna end up a mess??? but hang out with the popular preps and stuff. if yewr a tomboy then thats who you really are. you shouldnt go and try to change yourself. your old friends might think you want new friends or something or are tired of hanging out with them and thats not the solution. my friend said placing like target and walmart have qu-ute clothes but i dont shop there. but if you're trying to change your reputaion to be somthing that your not then dont got there. if you have any more problems or questions then just e-mail me or something bye

um maybe you can buy a plain t-shirt and fabric paint and decorate it really cool with either jazzy as a nicname or jazzmin it will look so cool and everyone will love it

go to stores like macys they have a ralph lauren section that originated preppy and the clothes go on sale

Well you could wear miniskirts and knee high argyle socks, a henley or a polo, maybe or a long sleeve v neck sweater. You could wear Your hair curly or put it in a high pony. GOOD LUCK!

Don't change your style to impress the people at your school. But if you want to change for you, then maybe try going to www.delias.com or www.alloy.com They carry all sizes.
