"Apocalypto" is a great movie. It has gotten some bad reviews from some critics, but I believe that has more to do with Mel's recent troubles than anything about the movie. It's a shame that these reviewers - who are supposed to be objective - cannot separate the man from the movie.

"Apocalypto" is an EPIC movie. Beautifully shot and directed. It is in the Mayan language, so there are subtitles. It makes the movie seem that much more authentic, much as using the Aramaic language made "Passion of the Christ" seem so much more real. And also like "Passion" it is a very gory film, which some critics have a problem with. I think it's very real to what the lifestyle of the Mayans was. I don't know your tastes, so I can't say for sure whether or not you'll like this movie. But I can say that it is an incredible piece of filmmaking.

very sturdy action picture, i myself have fun with what Gibson does together with his video clips by employing conserving them to the language of the country that they are in. He has an exceedingly exciting style of filmmaking with what feels like each climaxes with the aid of the action picture. He additionally has a sturdy sense for cinematography and not letting too lots coach together with his angles and photos. very advantageous twist on the top of the action picture, I liked the implication of the Europeans coming to the hot worldwide.
