It is believed that temperamentally and emotionally, women can endure pain and sorrow better than men. Women also share their problems with others more than men do, giving rise to better caring and lesser emotional stress. This helps in release of tensions in day to day life, which has a bearing on longevity of women in general. Particular cases may be otherwise.

Statistically, it's a fact that women live longer than men. This is true regardless of country, so likely it has something to do with basic biology.
What's not true is that women drive men to early graves. Married men live longer in general than unmarried men. Whereas for women, quality of life and lifespan are lower for those who are married.

women live longer. my guess is that they are the emotional gender who share their feelings , while men keep everything bottled up and eventually thier heart and brains explode
