Good question with a lot of hard answers. To stop bigotry and hate one must stamp out ignorance first. Then gain knowledge of others and accept them without question. After that is done then trust and caring must be applied. And then maybe everyone will get along.

I dint think that it will ever be eliminated. However we can surely reduce it thru education. First, those with the resources need to help those without. Schools in wealthy areas have the funds and support needed to get the best teachers, real estate, and programs for their kids. Schools in less well to do areas, have no extra money and very little support from the community. Kids get the bare minimum from the school system and gravitate to other groups to fill and fulfill their time. Unfortunately within these groups education is mocked and ignorance reigns. Then, even if these children do save themselves from poverty, the negative influences of the lack of early education stick.
We need to focus on education for those in lower income brackets, the vast majority of our students.

I think the first step is inside of myself. The second is to look to what I can do how I act. I am human my race should never be an issue. Why do they ask for race on application and in census we need to start being human. NOT white, not black, not red not a color, we need to start being human. Any one who says he is a black, white, or red man is not a man he is a racist. It starts with how we veiw ourselves.

Certain races need to stop thinking they can have their own TV channels, magazines, beauty pageants, a whole month dedicated to them, and such. They are segregating themselves. The @sshole are too dumb to realize it.
