Yes you can train them.Mine will sit up and lay down and bark like a dog !!!!!!!!

Trained? To do what? Yes, if it's staying up all night, running the wheel and shredding stuff. Anything else, No. Rats can be trained and they're cool.

Probably.....I have had rats....in my opinion they are better then hamsters, and smarter. You will be able to teach them way more that you could a hamster.

Yes, but not to do anything complex. I heard if you feed hamsters red meat they will become vicious carnivorous beasts.
