I knew I was gay at an early age, and my biggest desire was always to see my dad naked, and curiosity got the best of me to see what he looked like naked. I have always seen him with a swinsuit on and their was times we were home alone together and go for a swim and afterwards he would walk around the house with his trunks undone, where I could see his pubic hair but nothing else. One day he went to take a bath and the door was ajar and the vanity mirror was accross from the bathtub so I peeked in and in the reflection of the mirror i could see him sitting in the tub. i sttod their for what seem liked a eternity hoping he would stand up or anything so I could see his private area, finally he did and it was the biggest reward to see what dad had. I continued to watch him un-discovered by him that I watched everytime he bathed, just seeing him was awesome, but I never asked or took it any further, I was just satisfied being able to see him.

It almost sounds like a variation of what Sigmund Freud termed the Oedipus Complex. Here, at the age of 5, the boy experiences a sexual attraction for his mother. It is a complex because the boy knows that its inappropriate - as the father loves the mother. The boy fears losing his parents, and hence must overcome this phase. Freud believed that a heterosexual male at this stage identifies with his father and transfers his erotic desires onto other women. The weakness of the Freud theory is that it doesn't explain bisexuality.
Another variation of the Oedipus complex is where the child is initially attracted to both parents, and learns to suppress their homosexual desires and transfer their heterosexual desires onto other people. The homosexual in this case does it the other way round, and suppresses their heterosexual desires. The bisexual does no suppression whatsoever, and transfers both desires onto other people.
Obviously, these theories are just theories, base upon work done 100 years ago - and will differ to current theories.

fantasizing about seeing him naked and then watching him take a bath each time is something all together different. If you wanted to see your dad naked then you did, then why did you keep watching him, were you really undetected, or did he know you were there and left the door ajar so you could see. I think you are a great writer and should write for a national gay magazine.

You are a Voyeur. You like to watch or observe people doing things without their knowledge. A common term for that is a Peeping Tom. I also like to watch but watching your father is another story. First off all, I am glad you never took it further. At least you know your limitations. However you should be careful. You might get in trouble with your dad and worst with your entire family if you get caught. Anyway I hope it is just a phase that would soon disappear and probably later on you find someone else to watch ;-) Also if you can talk to a counsellor, that might help. Do not speak to those religious counsellors, the only solution they can give you is pray.

oh, Chuckie, sure I saw my Dad naked...lots of times...especially on Sunday mornings, when he wanted to sleep late, we kids would be up making noise, and sure enough, he would come charging through the house screaming, seriously wafting in the wind...slong, slong...side to side. My Dad was hung like a horse, even by grown up standards! Was it a turn on? No, it was embarrassing to me...all my friends would be playing loudly, and in swung Tarzan! oh, well.. some childhood memories are funny, aren't they?

I think your using the word fantasized incorrectly. I mean hopefuly you didnt think about it all the time. In my opinion every little boy has a curiousity to see there dad's thing because they want to compare it to their own. Atleast thats how my 4 year old was until he seen it.

I think a few sessions one on one with a good therapist may be a great help to you.
Incest fantasies generally are underlying some issues that should be pretty easy to deal with.
