Let's get this Katria issue straight.

When Hurricane Andrew blew into Florida, FEMA jumped in to help local and State government. FEMA stepped on alot of the " local & state Governments" feet. This pissed them off (Local & State).
ALL the State Goveners got together (or contacted each other) and resolved to tell FEMA that when there's a problem, they (the states) want to handle any future problems on their own. They (the Goveners) sent a letter to FEMA stating that if they need their help, They'll contact them.
Each state was suppose to come up with a "Game Plan" on how they'd handle each disaster. Unforunately New Orleans didn't figure on that degree of disaster and was caught off guard.
By the time they realized they couldn't handle Katrina it was too late.

"So that's the rest of the story"

Not everything that goes wrong is George Bush's fault. What Conservatives don't hear/see/acknowledge is that accountability does need to happen with the current administration as well. If the right held George Bush to the same level of accountability as Bill Clinton's sex life, then Bush would have been impeached by Christmas 2001.

In the last week I got a realy bad haircut, at least that wasn't Bush's fault.

What in the world are you talking about - the death of the Russian former spy? Barry Bonds will play another season? My dad didn't get his senior discount at the diner? Bears have won their division? Don't think any of that was Bush's fault either.
