Eg. Will a male/female Boer goat pair interbreed with a nubian goat pair if left in the same pen or pasture?

you have to separate ....if you want goats of same bred to breed and not mixture of breeds ..same with Horses rabbit etc same species will breed unless separated

Different breeds will interbreed. They are different breeds. Not differerent species. Just like cows, dogs, horses...New breeds are made from mixed breeds all the time. They make interesting looking kids, though! :)

If two animals can breed, they WILL make the attempt.
