Keep taking your birth control pills through your period. Those should be the different colored pills during your cycle. If you are confused about your birth control pill pack, consult a Planned Parenthood clinic in your area or read the information that comes inside the pill pack. You should be taking a pill every day, even during your cycle.

Not sure exactly what you are asking - do you have to take the placebos? If you are certain that they are placebos, no, you could skip them. You can just not take a pill on the days you would take the placebos. But make sure they are placebos, I know of at least one pill, Seasonique, that uses estrogen in the pills you take when you are supposed to get your period.

It is also possible to take BCPs continuously, skipping placebos and starting the next pack as soon as one is done. Women who have endometriosis often do this to avoid the pain of having a period, and it's becoming more popular for other women, too. You'd need your doctor to do this - your prescription has to be rewritten so you can get the pills a week "early," or you go on a pill like Seasonique that is designed to only give you a menstural period once every 3 months.

no you should have a guide and your body should adapt to where the last 7 pills are like water pills and usually you do not have the ;ast 7 and it is okay so i would ask your paharmicist or your docter about your prescription so you know more about your pills i would not stop taking the regular pills because then you would be inneffective and all
