I think you have to look like a prep, dressing with mostly Hollister or Abercrombie stuff. If you want to work at Abercrombie wear Abercrombie stuff. If you want to work t Hollister, where Hollister stuff. In other words, you have to be a prep.

To get recruited you should go to a store and apply, or go to abercrombie.com and click on the job opportunities link at the bottom of the page. They also have links to applying at Hollister and Ruehl, and sometimes recruit at colleges. Generally, you should be around college-age, and have a nice slim figure with a good-sized bust for a girl, and jacked for a guy. You should hav eclothes from abercrombie or hollister, and fit into them, but to wear them to an interview is a bit sad. I assume you are a girl, so you should buy a nice top, maybe follow the trends, and wear a lacoste polo, juicy zip up, and true religion or seven for all mankind or citizen of humanity jeans. If you can afford clothes that are not so imitation-preppy or done, then wear them when you apply for a job, but wear casual but designer clothes. And be very outgoing and polite. But I think Abercrombie/Hollister must get many applications every year, so don't expect to get a job, unless you are exceedingly good-looking and charismatic. But good luck.

An accent works. I live in England and spent 9 months coaching soccer in California. I walked into the shop one day, and the assistant asked how I was. After she heard my Newcastle accent she was all giddy and very talkative. After about 20 mintues of talking to her she offered me a job. I wish I found it that easy now I am back home lol!!
