Please elaborate more; are you looking for a particular greeting or are you hoping to narrate the program? After you can tell us, all you have to remember is to elaborate but let the audience see. You are only there to move/transition the action and smile gently at the audience.

This is how you'd greet the audience:

"Good evening my brothers & sisters in Christ and welcome to ___________ church for our __________ annual Christmas play. This evening we will have.. "

Fill in the blanks and get a list with all the names, and practice the pronunciation of the names depending on what part of the country you live in. Certain names in the Southwest (Latino), Northwest (Polish/German) or along any area you're unfamiliar with (depending on where you life) doneed special care. Also, ask any questions about biblical names from readings if you have to speak from the Gospels.

God Bless You!
