Tap the drum a few times with a heavy hammer around the edge.

If you mean the wheel won't turn then rock the car backwards and forwards that will release it most of the time. You can hit the drum with a hammer as well but that rarely works

Agree with above. A couple of BIG clonks with a hammer (on the wheel) will do it. I know because I had a Nova with the same problem and my boyfriend sorted it out this way.

Put car up on a jack take wheel of then release hand brake, don`t forget to jock wheels,then attack with a lump hammer.

Yes that's how to free it of, but is only a symptom of a handbrake fulcrum sticking it will do it again and again , have it fixed or it will wear the brakes uneven and cause out of balance braking
