Although our Saints are playing the Cowgirls this weekend, I can understand the hype. They finally have a quarterback they can trust, so they will ride that train til the wheels fall off. He has been winning ever since he started, making good plays, etc. He has proven to be better than Bledsoe, and Parcells made the right decision. So let them get hyped, us Saints fan understand that better than any other fan in the league. However, that train for Romo stops this Sunday Night!!! GEAU SAINTS!!

Romo has made some pretty terrific plays as I have watched him. If his physical play is not enough then his flash is b/c it inspires the rest of the team. That play he made against the hungry and desperate Giants, when he threw the pass about 50 yards down field, on the run, was phenomenol. It shows he can play! He is much more of a scrambbler than bledsoe or even most QBs. He is hitting his targets and has alot of confidence doing it.
I do not doubt that he could be the next Montana. I think he can be. The key thing to remember is that he already beat the Giants in NY and the Colts. Dallas is now a legite contender with him. They should beat the saints on sunday and clinch a playoff berth next week. Of course a weak NFC helps.

At the beginning of the season the expectations were very high for the Cowboys. Even Parcells himself was talking about going deep into the playoffs with this team. Well, the wheels seem to come off with TO and his nonsense along with subpar performance by Bledsoe.
Now enters Romo and the Cowboys are back in the hunt. Cowboy fans are now drooling at the mouth but it is too early for me to give Romo an 'elite' status among quarterbacks. He is having a good run right now but like you said 'Hey, he's only started six games.' I think the Cowboys will make it to the playoffs and then one will be able to judge Romo by how he plays in a big game. So, it is more hype right now than anything else.

I think that right now, it's all about winning. If Bledsoe were still at QB and Dallas was having this success they'd be saying "Bledsoe has resurrected his career" Not trying to discredit Romo in anyway, but I think it's more about the team ralling around him. Remember, this is the same squad that was playing at the beginning of the year with Drew. It's more of the TEAM playing better.

Cowboy fans are always Cowboy fans and with that it has been a little while since we were in the Superbowl, so any little help or should I say HOPE we are jumping on the bandwagon and cheering all the way through the season. I mean we went with Testaverde, yuck, and then another bomb and now we have the dreams that we can really pull this season into victory. Just like all you other fans of different teams would do, right?

Well, it's definitely too early to know if Romo is going to be able to play at this level for a long time, but Dallas has had some decent teams over the last several years that were torn apart by lousy play at QB.

I say Romo is worth the hype. He came in as a secondary, and look at the way he plays and hes only been playing for six weeks and we're 5-1 as a starter with him. He's better than Drew Bledsoe, lot more mobile and a lot more accurate.
GO COWBOYS!!!

so what dallas fan suppose to do, its nothing wrong with fans getting excited about there team playing well. and considering that dallas wasnt playing to well before romo got the start, it makes sense that most of the love would go toward romo. i think other fans need to get over dallas fan's "tip" and lets us be excited about our qb's great play....btw ever teams fans do this so get over it.

Because they forgot what it's like to win...so now that they've got a little taste, they're falling all over themselves.
It's kinda like the Eddie Murphy bit...Dallas fans have been starving...and here comes their cracker.
If you're starving and somebody
throws you a cracker, you gonna be like this:
"Goddamn, that's the best cracker
I ever ate in my life!
"That ain't no regular cracker, was it?
What was that, a Saltine?
"Goddamn, that was delicious.
"That wasn't no Saltine. That was...
That was a Ritz. That wasn't a Ritz?
"God, that was the best cracker
I ever ate in my life.
"Can I have another one, please?
Please, one more."

because they never win and that will not change this year either because they will get beat by the bears once they get grossman back in his groove. And trust me he will after the first round bye in the playoffs.
