I was married to someone for 20 years who was just this type of personallity. He blamed everyone else for everything. Someone was always to "blame", never himself mind. Out of all his negative traits, this was one of the hardest to live with. Our kids grew up being blamed for things that quite obviously he had done. They were constantly having to keep out of his way, for fear of being 'blamed' for whatever. I didn't kill him, but, man I felt like doing just that many a time. I had to bite my tongue for years. My advice: Get the hell away from this person, they will drain you of all energy, emotionally, mentally, physically. You will spend your life hiding anything and everything, in case he blames you or the kids(if this is a partner & you have kids) for it. In the end your resentment towards this person will be too hard to bare, and any love you may have felt will be replaced with bitterness..

Yes. I was in a relationship with someone like that. He has been hurt in the past by women so he was ALWAYS suspicious of me. He never takes responsibility for his actions. He always wants to play the victim. I was patient for a long time. I've been more patient with him than I have with any other man because he has a lot of potential. But finally I gave up on him and broke off the relationship. I have a child. I don't have time to deal with a grown child.

I used to work with a woman like that. Very negative, and when she couldn't figure out how to do her job she blamed the people that trained her for not doing it well enough, not helping her.
She eventually got fired for complaining too much and because she couldn't catch on despite real attempts to teach her. What goes around comes around.
