Okay, I've been at this a while and I'm here because I am truly stumped! I have no artistic ability, so making/drawing/carving/sculping these myself isn't an option.

I have created a 2-player strategy boardgame themed around the seven deadly sins. I need 14 pieces all together, representing the 7 sins and the 7 opposed virtues. THey should be about the size of chess pieces. IDEALLY, each sin/virtue would have its own token, one that fit with the sin in question (wrath, pride, etc.). Here's what I've tried so far:
* Stealing from chess sets. There are seven sins and six different chess pieces in a set, so it never works out right.
* Looking for clip art. The problem is find 14 drawings that match one another. I can find individual symbols that work, but not a complete set.
*Hiring someone. Too expensive! While I'm willing to spend some money on this, 14 original pieces of art is out of my range.

So, are there casts I can buy, art I can use, something out there to make my tokens? :)

Of course your game pieces could be metaphoric symbols of that which you describe. It would open other areas to you besides the hobby shop.

How about a project for a school art class?

Push comes to shove, even with limited artistic ability, pieces could be fashion as a template, and if the game were to go into production on some scale, these would be the prototype models.

From what I've heard, and experienced, they're both pretty balanced between each other. Both are Sandbox-Action-Adventure games, but I believe that inFamous is more of a sandbox platformer at heart. I have inFamous, and it is a great game, but if you're more into the whole action adventure scene, go with Prototype. I actually prefer Prototype over inFamous, even though I've barely played it.

I would try a hobby shop. Dollhouse pieces, model train miniatures, or other pieces like that might meet your needs.

Another option might be charms. You can buy cheap charms (for a charm bracelent) in hundreds and hundreds of shapes, and you're sure to find able representations of the sins and virtues. Use them lying down or weld them to a simple metal base to stand them up.
