my professor in philosophy back in college told us that what people see in their dreams are things that they have actually seen/experienced.

It really would depend upon whether the blind person in question had been blind from birth or not. People who have lost their eyesight later in life would definitely experience dreams in which they "see" something or someone stored in their memory. It is doubtful whether people blind from birth would have dreams involving vision.

I'm legally blind, but I can see fine with glasses so I'm not exactly what you are looking for. However, in my experience and my opinion, I would think blind people see the same things in their dreams as those with full sight. I suspect a blind person would just come up with a picture of what objects or people look like, the same as a sighted person might make by talking to someone on the phone or listening to somone that they can't see.
