look for a miata fan club, drivers' organization or a restoration club. They will know where to buy "restoration parts " if anyone does.

Look in car mags for specialty parts dealers and get on the phone. You'll probably have to call 50 places, so get on it.

Look at salvage yards. If someone wrecked out a Miata, chances are they didn't take the ash tray setup out when they had the car towed away.

Call Mazda. They MIGHT have spare parts.

Go to the dealer you should be able to purchase the tray holder, sometimes if the car was a demo or used the sales dpt. takes these items out like the cigarette lighter element so no body can smoke in the car till it is sold, you should not have a problem, getting one..
