Other than you mention, especially the word Christmas being dropped...I also hate:
Putting up with the one or two prats who try to ruin it for everyone else at my brother's house on Christmas day (if there is a co*kup and someone envites them).
Charles "That Cheeky Lad"
P.S. WTF don't we have the right to be offended or outright a*rsed by having Christmas attacked in the name of not offending a bunch of arrogant fawkers?

First, I hate anything 'politically correct' - bunch of hooey. The other thing I don't like about Christmas is the number of people who associate the death of a friend or loved one with the glorious holiday - makes everyone else feel bad. I'm not a Scrooge - I love Christmastime! All the festivities, decorations and most of all the birthday celebration of Jesus - I even bake a cake just for the occasion and our family sings "Happy Birthday" to Jesus. May sound corny, but that IS what Christmas is, isn't it?

Shops selling Christmas goods in September, the crowds, the way everything just stops for two weeks. The waste of all the food that is bought because great aunt Jane and her 17 kids might turn up, the way everything is half price on December 26th.

Envy inducing 'posh-shop' adverts (in the UK) that makes poor families take out the loans that come on during the morning programmes (Jeremy/Trisha times of the day), obviously targetting the socio-economic C2DE's who they presume will be watching such programmes...not thinking about the pain (and the APR) the said group will certainly be feeling over the next 60 or so months with hairy-reared dears knocking on their doors for the monthly wad owned...Allah aqbah, brothers!
Norwich City also tend to lose their Yuletide games also...bah!

I hate the songs Wonderful Christmastime by Paul McCartney and Last Christmas by Wham. It's about time some of today's artists wrote a contemporary Christmas song.

Not having the funds to do what I want. I want to buy lots of gifts and decorations and have a huge feast. Can't do it this year. I also hate that Christ is dropped from Christmas.

Cards which say SEASONS GREETINGS coz it makes me cross & is inappropriate. We don't have seasons greetings in spring or summer or autumn ('fall' to all those of you who live in Canada & the USA) & where oh where can we buy religious christmas cards. After all christmas is Jesus' Birthday.

I hate the pressure of having to get the perfect present, when in all likelihood, they probably won't like what you get them anyway - I've been seriously stressing what to get my boss, but I don't know why I bother.
