Troy Smith has been the winner for a long time. The media anointed him at the beginning of the season and his team has met all challenges so far. He is a terrific college player and deserves the award as much as any player this year, why not give it to him.

Sadly Troy Smith who does not even have the best numbers out of 3 quarterbacks. Colt Brennan had a lot better season than him and if he would of had a defense like ohio states then he would be winning it and also brady quinn has thrown for 5 more touchdowns this year and has over 70 more yards a game than troy smith but that really doesnt matter for the heisman because all you have to do is go undeafeated and the best player on the team will win it

So thats why it will be troy smith

The Heisman is an opinion pollwith 870 media guy votes (perchance some are gals, do not understand) plus former Heisman winners get a vote. There are at present fifty 4 winners who can vote. each and each and every pollis marked with a million, 2, 3 selections. And factors provided are 3, 2, a million. And the guy with the most entire factors wins. each and every voter can use even with criteria he/she comes to a decision. So, with that vast of a balloting inhabitants, it really isn't any longer accessible to assert what elements brought concerning the finest effect. some ought to o.k. have had to work out 2 Heisman adult males play interior the Championship sport. yet who knows. I agree there should be a playoff. Basing both contenders on media pushed polls has no extra credibility than choosing the perfect collegiate participant with media polls.

It wil be Troy Smith of Ohio State. He has had an unbelievable season: 2,507 passing yards, 30 TD's, and only 5 INT's. Since the Buckeyes are the #1 team, he probably will win by the greatest margin of all time.

Grudgingly, I must say Troy Smith. He makes probably %95 of the Buckeyes' offense happen. He's beaten 2 #2 teams.

Troy Smith is the best player on the best team, plain and simple he doesn't have numbers as good as Brady Quinn but the best player on the best team will usually do it watch out for McFadden next year

Smith: because his team is undefeated. If it's Quinn it's because America loves ND! :(. I think Hawaii's QB Brennan should have received an Invite. That kid is AWESOME!!!

182.8 QB rating.
53 TDs.
4990 Passing Yards.

Troy Smith isn’t even close to Brennan, stat wise.
