No, it is not possible to have a "place" where existence ends. If it doesn't exist, it is not a place.
If the universe is expanding, it's because it's creating space, and existence. It's not pushing its way into another realm of non-existence.

Ok, space and matter are different concepts, imagining where matter ends is much "easier" than thinking where the space ends but even such a question could have an answer so here is my theory on the end of universe.
Basicly it all begins by defining that what matter truly is, and if look deep into matter we see that it's made of molecules, atoms, subatomic elements, but when we finnally get to the smallest point we'll find that such a point isn't anything but energy, which well organized composes subatomic elements, atoms, molecules, cells and so on. But in definition everything we are is just pure and well organized "units of energy", or what I call pure energy.
Space itself, from a mathematic point of view, is a dimension or set of dimensions, dimensions don't have limits because they can be measure with numbers, and the same happens with time which also can be seen as a dimension. Space dimensions helps maths locate objects by a given coordinate such as {x=0,y=0,z=0}. Now the question of where does the space end, can be reinterpreted as where does the math dimensions "x", "y" or "z" end, or in other words which is the largest value (x|y|z) could possibly have for an existing object.
Now, as we all know, objects have dimensions, but energy it self doesn't. You cannot mathematicly say e = (1, 3, 5), because energy spreads and its effects can be seen in various locations at the same time because energy is constantly transforming itself. Therefore, to really understand universe true nature and understand its boundaries we must see universe in his true fashion, that is, energy.
So, everything we see around us is "pure energy", including cells, objects, trees, planets, ourselves and that pencil next to our PC just well organized and constant energy, such an energy never fades away and it's constantly transforming, and as energy itself it cannot be dimensioned. So, to have more or less an idea, the energy that takes to make an atom inside a molecule inside a pen doesn't necessarily need to be exactly located at the same coordinate as that atom because it's energy and as energy it could be spreading itself and could be building other subatomic elements in other objects in different space coordinates.
But even when the universe itself is energy that's not the way nature presents it to us, all that energy is presented to us in a different way through our conscience, all that energy is engined so well in a extremely organized way, that nature can use it to present it to us as dimensionable objects, giving to every individual the same perceptions scale so we can all have the same impressions, dimenssions and coordinate references that make the universe as we know it.
And that's when we through our conscience start thinking of planets as planets, trees as trees, and ourselves as ourselves, because that's what our conscience serves us: an Universe made of objects in a dimensional way, so this way dimensions (Such as time (t) and space (X,Y,Z) ) only end up existing in the intelligent conscience of each living individual as a result of the different perceptions delivered by this world thruogh our senses.
Such concepts based on what the universe is really made of and the basis of our own existance will help us understand where the universe truly ends.
So, in conclusion my answer is, universe ends where the conscience ends.

the universe does have an end. also, time has an end. See Revelation 10:6. But a more important question is do you have an end? And where will you spend eternity.

It's something like a cube, but the surfaces are three-dimensional. So we can't see the other edges, and the corners are where light, energy, and matter enter from the fourth spatial dimension. You can't have nothingness because you're surrounded by substance.

All physical matter is expanding throughout the universe. Stars, galaxies, ect... That's what they mean when they say it is expanding.
"Space" is always there. It goes on forever and ever. Space is the "nothing". When you get to the edge, there is only space, and no planets or stars or debris floating around.

i think that we must not think of what is beyond the universe as physical space, for example, if i ask you where does your memory start and where does it end, considering that it is expanding, would you be able to answer me? certainly not.
in my opinion the expanding of the universe is the expansion of physical space into space which is not physical, and i also think that this is beyond human thinking, we would probably never know...anyway, good question!

NO ONE KNOWS... No where can you find any information forme which states that the outer limits are such and such.. Yes, there are reports that the universe is DEFINITELY expanding but expanding from what? No one knows.. t he infinite-ness is so great on this subject.

ya! it's known that universe will end oneday...that's the eternal day. it's not known exactly how it will end, but all planets and stars will get out of order and crash on each other... and sun will explode. the whole world will come to an ending!

Ive always wondered that myself. it's like a giant slinky. it keeps on expanding and then sometime it'll go backwards and stop. i think. no one really knows.
