Not for my first pregnancy (I was young and my daughter wasn't that big) but for my second pregnancy, definitely! I'm one of those who carries all out in front (I didn't look pregnant if you saw me from behind, unless I was walking/waddling!) so my belly formed a very distinct shelf at the top. My son was very big (almost 10lbs) and I was tall and skinny, so I looked pretty funny! (Plus it was the 80's and I had one of those bi-level haircuts--scary!)

It's probably mean but I used to like to put a cold block of frozen veggies on my belly and watch the baby shiver it off. It was cute being reminded of what life you're carrying inside of you. I used my belly as all sorts of things: a place for the remote control, a dinner tray, even a place to hold my soap whenever I was bathing. Pregnancy is such a wonderful thing with an amazing baby afterwards. That's the best time to bond with the baby.
As for the kicking, when I was pregnant with my first son, Mikael, I was holding another baby in my arms and he started kicking the other baby, trying to get it off. He would also kick my partner whenever he tried snuggling me. Needless to say, Mikael at almost 4 years old STILL only wants to be cuddled when he feels like it. ;)

yes of course, but why would you want to do that. if the baby inside your tummy moves, the glass will fall and will create a
mess.
