This is a kinda interesting question. Panty liners, are good for back up, to be used with a tampon. Or perhaps for other discarge other then menstration. Otherwise they are a waste of time. Unless your the size of thumbalina. Anyways pads or sanitary napkins are more absorbent....sometimes they may look thin like a panty liner but they are generally longer and made out of more absorbant material. So I don't think anyone uses panty liners instead of pads.

I use pads but after my period i wear the pantyliners just in case it's not "completely" done yet!

Pantyliners are for everyday use; for your period you'll need a pad because of heavier flow.

be more clear, depends for which purpose...during menstruation a pantyliner wont be much of a help

Depends on the day. At the 1st and last day of my period I do.
