my desktop doesn't hibernate or standby when i select them....i've checked "hibernation" in the power options but still my desktop doesnt hibernate...

you have something running in the back ground that is keeping the system awake figure out what it is - a reminder some sort of auto updater things like that

You're power supply has to be compatible with the hibernation option.

What time limit do you have it set at? Go back to the power options and be sure that it is at the desired time. Also be sure to click apply after changing the settings.

Otherwise, I have no idea.

I would hit ctrl+alt+delete to bring up the task manager, and see if there are processes that are hogging the CPU. If so, I'd select the bad actor and end it. Then reboot.

everywhere on your pc right click after which left click (to teach off) on "Align to Grid" and/or "vehicle set up Icons". Then as quickly as you close up down (right) and restart residing homestead homestead windows your icons will stay the situation you place them.
