If she's a wonderful lady doctor and you're compatible, it'll be a wonderful marriage.
If she's not wonderful and you're incompatible, look for a rough ride.
The occupation is something that she does. You're marrying who she is.

Being a physician is unlike any other profession or career. Physicians dedicate themselves to healing the human body and with the many years of education including residency training their priority is to their patients' well being. But it does not mean she cannot be a good spouse and mother even if she commits herself to being a physician "full-time" which often means "over-time." You will need to understand this and help out.

What do you mean, "lady doctor?" That's sexist. You could have just said "doctor." Either way, if she works in a hospital, she'll probably end up with a lot of irregular hours. If she works in a doctor's office, things will be more stable.
