Please God nooooo!
However, Shearer has left a deep dark hole that nobody can fill. And it's the first season without him so morale will be a bit low.
Oh, and also, the worst thing the Toon ever did was employing Souness (and the best was getting rid!).... they've never recovered, in my opinion and have not yet found a decent replacement since!
Bring back Shearer in whatever capacity (Club Mascot....anything!) and the Army will be back on the frontline!!
(but hey, I'm a girl and what the hell would I know! ;-))

Well, this is a good subject , a month ago i would say yes and odds would be 5-1, but now theyre storming to the top with odds of goong don now 45-1, but i hope they do because if they do beinitez said he would quickly snap up michael owen for £5 million.

I doubt it, we beat blackburn away 3-1 just and its 3 wins in a row againt decent sides. Martins is finding form and we have some quite winable games at home left. Had a few decent results away as well at arsenal, man city and west ham. I predict top 10 finish.

O how i hope so! would love to see a tyne wear Darby in the championship! it might wake some of the Gordie's up who seem to think they are a great club! they have won nothing in over 50 years! many many so called smaller clubs have won lots more than them!

Nah - they'll probably end up around mid-table. Charlton & Watford are absolute certs for it though, not sure about the 3rd team - Shef U or 'Boro perhaps??
