"Are you having a bad day?" I was donating blood yesterday....and the guy drawing my blood was visibly agitated...so I asked him that question...and he was totally shocked! He got really close to me and said, "If i tell you what's wrong...will that make it better?" We ended up talking....and he thanked me for asking. Has anyone on here ever asked a perfect stranger about their day, and made them feel better?

What a nice thing you did.

You need to be careful just who you are befriending. But yes, I have done that too.

Sometimes people just need someone to listen to them to feel better.

yes i do try to talk to people i meet... ya never know if you will leave a mark in their day that can help them either in the same day or some time to come... and it feels awesome to have the power of a smile flip some ones day from not so good to at least ok or better
