It is a time of reflection. A time to think of the purpose of Jesus being born in a manger for the salvation of the World. We are in this despicable situation in the world today because we have forgotten the purpose of Christmas - salvation from sin. If we will only give up our evil ways and repent, then the world would become a better place for all.

I got a phone call from the North Pole to help the big guy out, so I sit in malls wearing a red suit and beard. I get to hear lots of Christmas wishes.

Kids, not even in high school, ask for World Peace, Peace in the Middle East, or ask for rain in Australia (on-going drought here).

Adults of all ages respond with smiles when I wave. For just a moment in their bill-paying day, they show happiness because of Christmas.

I've had a 5 day old baby on my lap ... an 58 year old lady with her mother on my lap ... gave small Santa gifts to a Muslim lady for her 2 kids

Christmas is a time people want to trust, smile, and help others more.

I hope you have a Merry Christmas, too - HO HO HO !

It means exactly what my intentions are.
If I want to have a peaceful wonderful loving Christmas at a cosy homey environment, with real friends and with the people that I really want to be with, telling them what I feel and sharing the moment, then that's what I'll get.
But If I want to spend money for gifts and visit as many shops and relatives as I can, then that's what I'll get.
I guess I'll go for the first option.
Merry Christmas
:)

LAUD TRUE FREEDOM!!!

Our nation was a Christian nation in its historical beginning. Jesus Christ, the Christ of Christmas brought redeeming power to mankind. That redeeming power through the blood of the Lamb of Calvary, has given transformation to lives from sinful living to good living. Those who submit to the authority of Jesus Christ within themselves, become new and are given spiritual power to live righteous lives. As a nation, when we have redeemed people in Christianity, the internal control of the righteous lives, makes it possible for external governmental control, to be relieved.

If our country forsakes this Christian righteous living, the internal righteous control of individuals will rescind, and the external governmental control will have to increase.

Mankind's external control becomes enslaving and many times breaks out into anarchy.

Christmas, which represents the Christ of Calvary and his redeeming power, consequently means FREEDOM, to me.

Feel free to say MERRY CHRISTMAS, and LAUD TRUE FREEDOM!!!
