why not..? i think the wedding singer's pretty cute...the sound of music, west side story, miss saigon and CATS!

Stage musicals......Nothing can beat Les Miserables, epic moving, uplifting and immensley well staged
Film, it just has to be Cabaret (although the stage show is fabulous, but somewhat different, ) It has so many levels and concepts. The music is emotive oooh, I must go and watch it now
And no, I'm not a gay man, or an old ladie thank you very much. Butr I have got a degree in drama and performance!!!!

I like ROCK musicals, but even those Hollywood has a tendency to warp beyond recognition. Only recently has Hollywood even begun to understand what "rock" music is - when it first came out they were so far off the mark it was downright laughable. It was kind of like "Pat Boone sings Metallica" or something equally absurd.

There are tons that i like, White Christmas, Hairspray, West Side Story, Sound of music, and all the oldies (carousel, oklahoma, etc.)

I cant stand musicals except Rocky Horror show and little shop of horrors.

who put Riverdance as a Musical (they must be under 25yr)
The best Musicals are.....SINGING IN THE RAIN/NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS/CAROSEL /SEVER BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS/CALAMITY JANE/MY FAIR LADY/GREASE/WEST SIDE STORY/SOME LIKE IT HOT/
THE MUSIC MAN/HELLO DOLLY
I could go on but Hollywood stopped making them when they cost went into millons to make them.
I have seen all these and more since 1954/
