I assume you are talking about menstrual cramps? Take aspirin to help dissolve any clots and either lay down with a heating pad or relax in a hot tub.

I understand your pain! I used to cramp so bad that I literally could not function at all. If I were at work and felt the slightest sign of cramping coming on, I would have to leave immediately to get home, otherwise I would not make it home before it got bad, and I would not have been able to drive a car at that point. The only thing I could do when cramping bad was curl up on the couch in pain. It was horrible!!

I read somewhere back then that thyme tea helped cramps. Now, I don't know if there is actually a product of thyme tea in a natural food store or somewhere, but I was so desperate at the time that I just took the ground thyme out of my cupboard (it's an herb for seasoning food) and made some tea with it by heating the water and adding the thyme. It worked for me! Hallelujah!! =)

I hope it works for you! :)

PS.......I think I bought some whole thyme leaves off the spice rack in grocery store after that first time, and made the tea with the coffee maker................putting some in the basket where the coffee grounds normally go. You can easily get fresh thyme in the produce department now..............I would think that would be even better. :)

Take vitamin E 400 IU; 2x daily on cramping days, once daily on other days; Take 2 calcium-magnesium-zinc tablets 3x daily with meals on cramp days, one tab 2-3x daily on non- cramp days; Also take a good multiple vitamin with minerals daily, and a good Essential Fatty Acid supplement daily. At night take 100-300 mg of Valerian which is a mild herbal sedative and muscle relaxer. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Tylenol 3 works very well if you are OK with taking medication and Midol won't cut it. Also apparently there are positions you can lay in (on your back with your feet elevated) that are supposed to help. Heating pads work well, even those temporary ones you can buy at grocery stores. Also, take iron supplements, and pineapple is supposed to be a natural cramp reliever.

Isn't it great being a woman? I hated them dang things. Thank God I don't do that no more. you could have an infection that is causing the pain. or you could have endometriosis. That is in the lining of your uterus and it does cause painful periods. Go get checked and see if you have anything going on that is abnormal. better safe then sorry. Owch. take 4 200 mg. ibuprofen. or pamprin or midol. Good luck in getting out of pain. Periods suxxy

You can buy a certain vitamin at the drug store which might help you. I dont remember the name of them, but my gf had bad cramps and took the vitamins, and her cramps were less painful.

Try some light exercises and aspirin if you are not allergic to it, the aspirin prevents blood clots from forming which is what usually causes the cramping.

If you are talking about normal muslce cramps, then you 99.9% have a MAGNESIUM deficiency! Eat more nuts, wholegrains, peanut butter, dried fruits, chocolate, drinking chocolate, carob, seeds, lettuces, broccoli, brussel sprouts etc.

AND/OR take a magnesium supplement to get you back on track.
