I would say PAL still remains the best. However, Cebu Pacific is giving them competition through cheaper rates, younger staff (my impression) and most importantly, more on-time flights.

Philippine Airlines remains to be the best and my favorite Philippine airline. The service is majorly better than the others. They charge a bit more especially since Cebu Pacific started having these cheap fare promotions, but the service and quality from Philippine Airlines more than make up for the price difference. PAL has exclusive use of the newer and nicer Terminal II airport, too. If you can afford the extra few hundred pesos, you should definitely go and fly Philippine Airlines.

Philippine Airlines is number one from experience and also rating .. and then China Airlines is pretty awesome..

Philippine Airlines are some of the best in the world with no major incidents reported for some years and China Airlines is rated lower..I don't know why but found they have good pilots and great service as well as Philippine Airlines

Philippine Airlines is the National carrier of the Philippines and is the oldest airline in Asia. It has more international (US, Asia and Middle East) and domestic flights than any other Philippine carriers. Therefore they can conveniently connect you from your international flight to their domestic route. Also Philippine Airlines is the only airline in the Philippines that operates the Jumbo Jet (Boeing 747) for its international flights.

Cebu Pacific on the other hand is still new compared to Philippine Airlines. It started in the mid 1990's and is considered among the pioneering budget airlines in Asia. Cebu Pacific started international flights around Asia only last year.

Seair is the best airline in this country.
The company is owned by the grandson of the pioneer of flight, and is managed and maintained to German standards.
They also have turboprop aircraft that can beat the jets to Boracay by 20 minutes!
They fly to more out of the way places in this country than anyone and with the Round the World trip ongoing with the DO24TT Amphibian, they are also doing more to promote tourism in this country than even the government has been seen to do........

I always chose PAL locally and internationally. My basis: the last tragedy of Cebu Pacific here in the Palawan area where almost everybody where killed!
I will pay PAL even if it would be at a higher cost!

Both airlines are fine, i would always fly through the cheapest fare. different airlines have different fares for different destinations. the service with both are pretty much the same, web bookings are cheaper through both. so just check them out and go with the cheapest
