I have an aunty and she went to a psychic who told her that she would be good at writing and acting and those are two of my passions whereas she isn't. She told the psychic that she's probably thinking of me (her nephew), but the psychic said it was her...Is it possible that she takes or swapped energies? If so, how do I stop this?

it because we have cut ourselves off from the Source of Life, and "think",
on a subconsciuos level, we have to take energy from others to survive.
First, we have to stop playing these control dramas oursleves. Because

You can protect yourself from psychic invasion by imagining a light of
protection around you in your minds eye. And call on God, (speak out

Yes it is definitely possible for someone to take your energy ! it used to happen every day to me ! I used to go to a place in town and stay there all day doing stuff , when I got home at night all my energy had gone ! I strongly suspect the boss was causing this ! . Seriously though reading through all the other answers reinforces in my mind what a load of old cobblers all this psychic stuff is. When tested not a single so called psychic ( or clairvoyant ) can perform a simple task like locating a missing person, I posted a question on a missing person on this site for psychic to locate a missing person in Queensland Australia. Not a shred of information came from anyone regarding this. Question now is WHY !!Also why has the reward offered by Australian Skeptics never been collected ! .After controlled testing all the so called psychics bomb out big time !!

I'm not really sure, I know my friend drains people's energy's and I have to heal them back, I also can take energy as well, I just don't like to unless you hurt me. When someone takes your energy they feel the emotion that you felt, and they can know things that go on inside your head, plus they take on your personality as well, but sometimes your personality and the other's personality can collide in a bad way. You can however put up boundaries you just need to be intune with your body, because there are some tricky little ******'s out there.
Your situation sounds like Freaky Friday, lol, but I SERIOUSLY I doubt she did that, I mean a psychic told my aunt that i'm the reincarnation of my dead sister, and i'm actually the reincarnation of the egyptian cat goddess Bastet, I found that out through enlightenment, dreams as I was little until now, so on and so forth, but seriously I think that psychic just had energies confused. I think that possibly your aunt was thinking of you or wishes she had your talent and maybe the psychic thought it was what she was good at, iono.

.What the psychic was feeling was either your energy on her, or someone else your aunty was with. You can carry other's energy ON you, if you spend a great deal of time around that person, or care about that person.
Yes there are people who are called energy vampires. But the energy they steal is not talent. You are referring to talent.
OK. This is getting complicated... A psychic can ''read'' your energy like a book. And on that energy he/she can pick up what your personal talents are. Talent is like the words in a book. Other things are ''written'' in that ''book'', too.
Back to the Vampire issue. Have you ever spent a short amount of time around someone and feel exhausted? First of all, spot doing that. They will actually make you sick in more ways than I will mention. But if your stuck in a place where you are forced to be around a energy vampire, visualize a wall.
Visualization is the biggest key to any kind of energy work. Weather its witchcraft or transferring energy to heal someone.
If you don't like the wall, you can imagine armor, a big bubble that no one can pass through, or any other barrier. Visualization takes practice. Don't panic if you can't get it right at first.

No one can take energies away from you unless you allow them to.
You can put up boundaries, wards and protections and they all are perfectly fine, but the simplest thing to do if you feel someone trying to drain you from energy and you don't want them to is to just walk away from them and block them from your mind.
The Psychic may have seen these things in your Aunt and perhaps your aunt just hasn't developed those interests yet. The Psychic could also have just been wrong, or misinterpretted the information she was seeing. No Psychic is 100% accurate.

Solomon_R's answer was very good and it is helping the enlightenment that must happe nsoon or we're all ******. look at the world, every one is trying to suck everyone elses energy. Little power battles. The worlds leaders suck each other and then suck us, and we suck each othr and them. And every one sucks the poor. We all suck.
that phychic was probably a quack just sucking on your aunties enery and money to make herself feel better. The acting writing thing was maybe a coincidence or some wied mind transfer thing that happened when your aunty projected her thoughts of you to the psychic, who picked it up and thought she was getting somewthing, but ws wrong.
Thats what makes sense to me.

It may be that aunty has these talents, talents often do run in families. I believe it is possible to take energy, but it seems unlikely in this case. If energy stealing was happening, it would be stupid of your aunty to tell you of the reading. My advice is for you to focus your energy on your own writing and acting, instead of your aunty's psychic reading.

i think so. some psychics always dont know where things come from, its kinda a blind area, unless u truly are gifted. i dont think u "swapped," but it is possible some of your energy follows your aunt, which would be how the psychic would read that.

Read Carolyne Myss's books ( The 7 Archetypes is a good start), seek out personal boundaries, create an aura of protection layer yourself in white and gold light and mirror shells all around you, ask your angels to assist you , there are lots. of methods this is a good start for you to seek your truth as it relates to The Truth. But, my answer to your question is this: I think so. I know the mental state and verbal communications from others affect my mental and phsyical state. So I don't know why someone couldn't steal your energy. When I am constantly bombarded with negative attitudes, I actually tell them to stop it!! Because I guess I am an 'over positive' person.
