We used Gooogle Adsense for quite a while. And it is a great deal. It is totally free. We never paid anything in about 2 years. And on a small blog we made about $75 per month. However, they did "pull' their ads from us one day out of the blue and said we were disqualified and we never really found out why. That was weird. But, to answer your question it is free. :-) You could also try Bidvertiser. It is free as well.

I suggest you visit Google Adsense http://www.google.com/adsense and read more about the program.

It is a TOTALLY FREE income-generating program where you earn from the ads served on your site. It is not a business opportunity that always has a catch. It's an advertising program, where the only catch is whether your site can qualify or not based on their criteria (some sites don't get accepted). I've been with them since June 2003 and it's always been free.

But they are quite strict and has no qualms about kicking out publishers caught generating invalid clicks (clicking on own ads, giving incentives to users to click on ads, etc). So I suggest you really read the Program Policies as to what you can and cannot do.

And remember, this program is by Google -- the biggest search engine and darling of Wall Street.
