can anyone tell me the capacity of my tank in gallons & litres, the dimensions are 34.5"x12"x16.5", will be much apreciated with calculations shown

You have about a 30-gallon tank. The measurements given for a 30-gallon from Petsmart are 36"x12"x16". Your tank is pretty close to that.

It's probably a 30 gallon tank.
34.5 x 12 x 16.5 = 6831 cubic inches
231 cubic inches in one US gallon.
6831 / 231 = 29.57 Gallons
