Wrinkles happen to us all, but when they occur can vary greatly, depending upon your habits and your genetics. If you spend a lot of time outdoors, in the sun, without sunglasses that could explain it (because yes, on average most 26 year olds don't have wrinkles around their eyes).
The skin around your eyes is the most sensitive exposed skin on your body, and direct exposure to the sun, plus squinting in harsh sunlight can combine to give you premature wrinkles. I'd strongly recommend getting a good pair of UVA/UVB rated sunglasses, and wearing them anytime you're outdoors--even on overcast days, as the sun's UVA and UVB rays are actually magnified by the droplets of water in the clouds, so they can be worse on overcast days.
I'm almost 37, and belong to a family that has a tendency to be gray and wrinkling by 30. I have some of the grey, but not a wrinkle in sight, largely because everyday I wear sunglasses and a moisturizer with sunscreen.
The article below from WebMD discusses aging and skincare in more depth. There are some other good tips at the bottom of the article.

It depends on what you mean by wrinkles. Im 22 and i have some laughter lines.
First off, Do you smoke? hows your diet? Do you sleep enough? Are you always stressed? Do you use sun beds or excessively tan? Have you used spf everyday? Did you have dry skin when you were younger?
People who have oily skin when they are younger are less prones to early wrinkles. Smoking and passive smoking breaks down collegan in the skin. Sun exposure and sun beds do the same thing. Their basically is no way to reverse the effects. This damage was done when you were a teenager. Do either of your parents have bad wrinkles? It can also be genetic. All you can do now is prevent further damage by using spf, even in winter and not smoking or being around those who smoke. Hope this helps!

You either live in a hot area, or you smile a lot. It is not a defect at all. Unless the wrinkles go the opposite way to your laughter lines. then get them lasered. Non evasive procedure.

You must be happy. When you smile, your eyes crinkle up and that causes the lines around the eyes. Think of them as adding character. I never heard the word, "enthusiasted."
