Depending on how sick you feel.
Chlorine is often good for your body since it kill germs and what not. I swim with a cold very often, it's just not worth missing the meet for something as small as that.

However a fever should keep you home since it'll just get worse if you start being active before your better

It would depend on how important the meet is,is this like for the finals or something of that nature then yes i would. then it would also depend what kind of sick are you : Do you have a real bad sore throat, are you vomiting. I think if I were you I would let this one go by and maybe when the next one comes up you could be at your best.

no, just stay home. swimming probably isn't the best idea if you're already partially ill. your team will live without you there, and sitting in front of the tv with a blanket sounds more fun anyway doesn't it? that's what i do when i'm sick. and my dog jumps on the couch and keeps me company. fun fun fun

depends how sick you are like if you are running a fever then you do not go and if you just have a stomache ache then it is probally because you are nervous and once you get in the water you will feel a lot better.
