Jesus says that an honest apology is enough to get to heaven. Although I don't believe in Jesus those who do should say yes to this question. And regardless of wether Jesus was the son of God, an honest apology should be respected in my book.

Believing in Jesus doesnt mean people have to let everyone walk all over them. yes God and Jesus preach forgiveness, So It'd be right to try to forgive him, but for the thousands and thousands of families he destroyed by his actions, a simple "I'm sorry" probably wouldnt exactly end their suffering. You can forgive, but forgetting is another thing. He wont ever apologize for it, because he's proud of what he's done and plans on doing it again, but if he DID ever regret it, he'd have to do a lot more for those families than just utter an apology before they felt even close to right again.

well im not Christian either, though i do believe in God. I honestly believe that people who commit crimes or do anything at all wrong deserve as second chance as long as theyre really genuinely sorry and wish to pay the pay the price for their actions and turn over a new leaf. however i also believe what goes around comes around so yeah, if Osama said he was sorry, id forgive him, then id sentance him to hanging.

I believe in Jesus Christ but I don't think Osama is man enough to give an honest apology.

Yes, I will forgive him but he has to bear the consequences of all his actions.

God is a merciful and compassionate God. He will forgive those who will seek repentance, a real one and not just the worldly repentance.

BUT

God's righteousness is also retributive for the benefit of those who have served as Osama's victims.

Sure... he only was responsible for murdering about 3,000 people... I'd forgive him... right after I hung him dead soaked in boiling hot bacon grease. (Muslims believe that you can't get into paradise if you die smelling of pork, and some believe the same thing if you are hanged).

No. I don't think he COULD be sorry, let alone mean it.

If you accidentally killed someone, maybe. But he masterminds not only terrorism, but promotes hatred.

I could only forgive him after he dies in prison and meets his maker.
