I'll be in New York for a few days this spring, and I already have tickets to "Wicked," but I'd like to see another show or two. Are there any shows that have been slipping under the radar? "Wicked" is so high profile, I'd love to balance it out with a couple of lesser known shows.

And I'm really open to big lists, so if you're theater maniac, throw them at me.

Currently Off Broadway is the destined to be classic "Evil Dead The Musical." Saw it when it started out here in Toronto and it's a huge hoot! A classic first act closer, some great songs, one from the moose head, and another from the possessed sister in the basement.

Just don't sit down front in the "splash zone," because it's exactly what you might think given the title!

I would suggest you talk to the hotel clerk and ask him where to get tickets to off-broadway shows. Most hotels in or near the theater district in NYC have a ticket clerk on staff, their job is to reccomend plays, mostly broadway but you never know if they will have some Off-Broadway stuff. Many of the ticket clerks up there are actors who are trying to make money. You might also want to find out whats playing in the Lincoln Center. It is in the same area Juilliard is, so youre sure to find something going on there.

I was in NYC in June. Saw Wicked, Avenue Q, Spamalot. Also went to see "Altar Boyz" off-broadway. Excellent show, great music. Not as low profile as some others I saw (which have since closed) but on a much smaller scale than Wicked.
Highly recommended.

No by no skill! even with the truth that--- some cases with this one guy i became courting (briefly) --- i'd faux to moan and actually may only be mendacity there questioning about how terrible he became, then began to imagine about what i had to do the subsequent day. Like, "aw sh*t- I really might want to get my inspection sticker the following day..." mean at the same time as he's moaning and c*mming - I favor i'd have fallen asleep... atleast then i does no longer have familiar how negative it became. satisfied it extremely is over and done with.
