I keep and breed mollies and other livebearers. Also i had a pair of mollies, Michelle(female, I named her that for some weird reasons) and Sliver. It was not long after they mated and I took Silver out to mate with other girls. But it seems that the once active and playful Michelle now sulk in a corner, missing her mate.Same goes to Silver who never eats any more and does not want to mate with other females. Is there any powerful bond between livebearers or it's just coincidence???

It's just coincidence and anthropomorphism. Mollies with Schtup anything that moves and a few things that don't.

Actaully mollies will do better in groups of 1 male to 4 or 5 females. I have sail fin mollies that are like that. They will only mate with a single female and the female will only mate with that single male. Even though there are other males and females swimming in the tank. My tank consist of a 125 gallon tank with 10 males and 48 females and the same females are always pregnant. So put your male back in the tank with Michelle and introduce acouple of other females in and see what happens.

There have been cases of mollies and other live bearers being "monogamous" but it is not the norm.
