For the elder one: Probably a set of slippers or if you do not know sizes, many do appreciate food gifts. My mum liked bath powder, bubble bath, etc.
my brother? I would try to get him something that lined up with his interests or needs. I just bought my brother a torche to carry in his new vehicle.
Girlfriend. I would guage it by her interests and the depth of our relationship. Oddly enough I have gotten quite far giving a teddy (bear that is), and relatively inexpensive jewelry for a first Christmas.

i would get the grandpa/grandma an assortment of crackers/cheeses/meats and a special tray for them for entertaining. get the brother a gift certificate to a local pub/restaurant. depeding on how long you've been with the girlfriend, get her a hoodie or sweater from her favorite store or something more personal, like candles and massage oil or a gold/platinum bracelet.
