Pubs are very hard to manage there's more than just sales involved. I would steer clear and get some bar experience first. people will respect your more if they know that you've been there.

Sure it is , you can do anything if you really want too -- ingrediants are--- Good Customer relations -- keep you wits about you -- be sure to choose a good Pub -- with Good Mangement and a Good Atmosphere amongst the Staff and most important weigh up the type of "Customer" that the Pub attracts

I would say it depends how intense the work demand would be. It's always better to know something from the ground up if you will be the manager, especially if that means you're the boss.

i would have thought that sales or marketing experience would over rule actually working in a bar!!!
