I want the meaning and where it's used??
confusing me for a couple of month from.

It's the manufacturer of diesel engines. They are used in most semi trucks and heavy equipment.

Cummins engine co. is named after Clessie Cummins.He designed and built the cummins diesel engine.He was a chauffeur for the Irwin family in Columbus,Indiana.In later years he also designed the Jacobs engine brake for diesels.

Yes, they make one hell of a good diesel engine, used in a lot of heavy machinery and now being used in Freightliner trucks too since they won that bid. Any search engine you would care to use will give you lots of information about them. They just had a very profitable 4th quarter.

they are a diesel engine company, they are in many tractors/trucks and dodge uses them for there pick-up trucks
the name probly came from the name of the guy who started building them, like ford.
