i have not seen from an winged airplane, because the view from the window is restricted. you need to be on a flight between north & south and Moon should be increasing or placing. oftentimes Moon is on suitable of the 'airplane. So the probabilities are severe quite uncommon. yet I said it each and each and every time I flew in a helicopter (Aloutte III) with a bubble like Perspex coc'pit. It became oftentimes on the suitable.
