None of the above without the Stones. So it could or must be the Stones. Steppenwolf had one song. Guns N Roses maybe had one. Pearl Jam had none. Van Halen had none. Metallica covered Queen's one good song and that's it. Deep Purple are like rain. AC/DC with Bon Scott had three and a half good songs. Thin Lizzy you can actually take all day long and you'd be surprised at that. But the best band are The Kinks. Pye have horribly repackaged them but the 68-70 period is fantastic. Try ARTHUR. No ARTHUR no Bowie. And no Bowie no anything. So it's The Kinks.
