I bought a SanDisk Sansa MP3 player for my boyfriend for christmas. I want to download some songs on it but I can't figure out how. It supposedly comes with 2 free months of BestBuy/Rhapsody Music store usage. But I can't figure out how to download anything. Plus it comes with music already on it and I can't figure out how to delete them. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

To delete the songs on there, plug it in to your computer and open up "My computer." You should see the Sansa listed there (might be under "storage devices" or "portable devices"), and you can click on it. Then it will open up and you can delete files right from your computer. You should also be able to do it in Windows Media Player--just make sure you have the latest version. Then plug in the Sansa and go to "sync" and click on the files you want to delete.

I haven't used Rhapsody, but once you get songs on your computer (by downloading them or ripping them from CDs), you can use Windows Media player to transfer them to the Sansa (make sure you have the latest version of WMP--it should be on the Sansa software CD)!

Go to Copy to CD or Device. On Left side, Items to Copy, select all music. Then check music to copy On right side, select device, (sansa),then click copy. I have a sansa mp3 player too. You dont really need windows media player to copy it. Just locate the mp3 files in your drives and drag & drop to sansa mp3 player (connected as a USB storage device) using explore.
