Not for murder, yes for lesser offenses.. Anyone who deliberately takes the life of another person forfeits their right to life. I think it was Daniel Webster who said " every unpunished murder reduces the security of the remaining citizens" (That wording might be slightly off, but that was the sentiment, and I agree with it)

NOT AT ALL. IT SHOULD BE AN EYE FOR AN EYE, TOOTH FOR TOOTH. IT MIGHT CALM DOWN OUR SOCIETY A BIT.CRIME IS GETTING OUT OF HAND IN OUR SOCIETY.COURTS ARE TOO LENIENT WITH SERIOUS CRIMINALS. IT SEEMS THAT THE CRIMINALS HAVE MORE RIGHTS THAN THE VICTIMS.
